- GUIDED ROUTES, WITH EDUARDO CHOZAS
The organization of the World Cup in Madrid offers the opportunity to participate in a mountain bike Guided Route through the Casa de Campo Park. It will be a 25 kilometre long ride, and will be lead by Spanish former professional biker Eduardo Chozas. The Registration for this Route can be done at this website, with a 5€ cost. Registration includes medical assistance, feeding and plate number. The use of helmets is compulsory.

11:00 - 12:00: Guided Route "B" (25 km), with Carlos Sastre and Eduardo Chozas
- "EMOTION XC RACES"
Licensed riders can participate in the Citizen Races, named "Emotion XC Races" here, which will take place at the same venue and same track than the Professional race… The categories are Cadet, Junior, Master (30, 40 y 50-60), Elite-Sub23 and Female Cadet-Junior. The pre-registrations can be done at this website, but payment must be done in cash (10 euros) at the Registration Area in the Casa de Campo Park. Those who haven’t pre-registered can register to these races at the Casa de Campo, but with a 3€ charge. For these races, the bikers could get a One-day-License (12 euros).

Sunday, May 4th
- UCI MOUNTAIN BIKE WORLD CUP - ELITE RIDERS
The World’s best riders, such as Julien Absalon, Christophe Sauser, Irina Kalentyeva, Gunn Rita Dahle or Sabine Spitz, will come to Madrid to participate at the third Cross Country World Cup. All of them, among Spanish top riders José Antonio Hermida and Marga Fullana, are the main favourites to win not only this race, but also take the Gold Medal at this summer Olympic Games in Beijing.
Registration for this race must be done through local Federations, and each rider must have 20 UCI points.
